The Northfield City Council has authorized and established a voluntary program for registration of domestic partners. The domestic partner registry is a means by which unmarried, committed couples who reside or work in Northfield and who share a life and home together may document their relationship.
Registering
To register as domestic partners:
- Complete the Domestic Partnership Registration Application (PDF)
- Form must be signed in front of a notary public.
- Include the $40 fee
- Mail or deliver to the City Clerk's office, 801 Washington Street, Northfield, MN 55057
